About us

Māori Language.net was started in 2007 with some funding by Te Taura Whiri I Te Reo Māori (Māori Language Commission) through their Mā Te Reo fund.  It’s aim was to be a base for the basics of Māori Language.

We acknowledge the kind support of Te Taura Whiri I Te Reo Māori (The Māori Language Commission) through Mā te Reo in assisting us to bring the ability to learn the Māori Language to a global audience.  We hope you enjoy the website, what we offer and most of all korero Māori.
